Don’t have the urge to sit in front your analog TV and watch the low quality images being displayed? Feeling the urge to buy a HDTV to replace your old and rusty analog tv but you do not have the cash to spare? Well, there is now an easier and fuss free way to enjoy high definition images without buying a HDTV. Simply watch it from you computer!

To do that, check that your computer has the necessary requirements to run cable TV. Preferably, your computer has a DSL connection and running on either a Windows XP or Windows Vista platform.

Next, purchase a HDTV tuner card from a shop and install it to your computer. There are 2 types of HDTB tuner card you can choose from. You can either choose a internal HDTV tuner card or a external HDTV tuner card. The external HDTV tuner card is more user-friendly and fuss free and I recommend it. However, the external HDTV tuner card is more expensive too.

After you have successfully install the HDTV tuner card, contact your local cable service provider and they will provide you with the HDTV programmes. Thus, it is important that even before purchasing your very own HDTV tuner card, you need to know from your cable tv station f any subscription or software programs are needed.

Once everything is set, enjoy your HDTV programmes not on a HDTV but from your computer.
